AISL Conference 2021
AISL 2021 is being held virtually on April 9th from 12-3:30pm Eastern and will be offered free as a member benefit. So the board can plan for a successful conference, registration will close on March 31.
Members must register through the AISL website. Registrants will receive a link to register for breakout sessions and a link for the conference. To follow along on social media, please use and follow #AISL21
April 9th marks the end of National Library Week, and it's a fitting day for us to be together, even as we are apart. We hope you will register and join us. The Skip Anthony Banquet will be recorded and available to members, as will a limited number of the breakout sessions.
One of the highlights of AISL conferences is connecting with other librarians and seeing other school libraries!
We are hoping conference attendees will create a video introduction of themselves and, if possible, their school library (or current home library.) Videos can be a maximum of 3 minutes in length and might cover some of the following or any of your choosing:
**Name, School, Region, and Grade Levels Served** **Why you became a librarian**
**Favorite part of the position** **Areas of expertise** **Fun student story**
**Tour of your library** **Goal for the 21-22 school year** **Hobbies outside the library**
Conference attendees will be able to comment on the videos and get a sense of what our daily library lives look like as we get to know each other better through the Zoom sessions and table topics.
We've all spent a lot of time on Zoom in the past year. Keep this light, informal, and fun. Let your personality shine!
