Project Due Dates

  • Monday/Tuesday, April 26 - Ancient EgyptTopic Selection due. Hand in topic selection Worksheet to Mr. Bednarsky.
  • Wednesday, May 5 - 10-15 notecards due.
  • Wednesday, May 12 - Outline due
  • Wednesday, May 19 - Rough Draft Due
  • Wednesday, May 26 - Final Project Due (Choose Paper or Presentation Below)
    • 3-5 page paper
      • MLA formatted
      • Works Cited page (from NoodleTools)
      • In-text citations
      • Completed Research Evaluation stapled to end of paper (paper, works cited, research evaluation stapled)
    • Google Slide Presentation 
      • 1 Title Slide
      • 7-8 content slides with in-text citations
        • Each slide should have content (writing, not just pictures)
      • 1 Works Cited slide
      • Completed Research Evaluation stapled to printout of slides

 

Research and Formatting Rubric  

Formatting (5 pts) 

  • Paper = MLA Formatted (Times New Roman, Size 12, 1-inch margins) - 5 pts 
  • Presentation = Content in a clearly readable font & consistently formatted - 5 pts 

Research (10 pts) 

  • Sources fixed as per Noodletools Messages – 10 pts  

Works Cited Page (10 pts) 

  • Titled Works Cited (centered) - 2 pts 
  • Hanging indent and alphabetically listed – 3 pts  
  • All sources in Works Cited in paper/presentation & all souces in paper/presentation in Works Cited - 5 pts

Total Score – 25 pts
